MANAGEMENT

Women’s representation among private and public sector management remains low, with only one of states having shares of women in managerial positions of 20 per cent or more, and 12 of them have 10% or less. The gender compositions of executive boards of private companies are nowhere near parity—meaning that the "glass ceiling" remains a reality for the vast majority of the Nigeria’s women.
